Albania is planning to build a port for yachts in the southern area of Saranda, Albania.
This project is expected to transform the port into a tourism gateway to south Albania. The project financed by the World Bank in cooperation with the Albanian government is worth Euro 5 million, daily Shqip reports. According to the director of the port of Saranda Tafil Kola, tender procedures will be opened this month while works are expected to begin soon after.
