TIRANA (Albania), March 22 (SeeNews) - The upgrade works of the water supply network in Central Albania which represent a project worth 9.3 million euro ($10.1 million), have been completed, local media reported.
The upgrade project will impact positively around 46,000 citizens from the city of Berat and the town of Kucova, state new agency ATA said on Tuesday.
Under the project, about 103 km of water supply pipes were rehabilitated, water meters were installed, and a new administrative building for the water supply and sewerage enterprise were built.
The project was financed by the German government through KfW Development Bank, and by the EU using IPA 2010 funds, ATA said
